Where should I be earning??

I currently use adsense on my forum which has around 3000 unique visits per day. The problem is that with adsense I have a massive amount of page impressions (188,574 last week) and around 300 clicks in one week and earn $23.79. I feel that for 300 clicks and 3000 uniques I should be earning more than 25 bucks....it's pretty darn standard.

Yesterdays stats:

Page impressions------Clicks---------Page CTR----Page eCPM [?]----Earnings
28,959-----------------53-----------0.18%---------$0.09---------$2.71

53 clicks and I earn $2.71 :S

Is there a better advertiser I should be with? Keep in mind that I don't want to send out adware...
