excuse my politically incorrect language for a minute but i am in honest search for where my n!ggas be at? first off, i see stOx is posting again. bout time, and strong dis to the mods for that poor decision in the first place. to make this qualify for a political post i wanna tell you all i think the education system is a load of sh!t, as well as an inefficient monopoly. i spent exactly 0 minutes of research into that one and i wanna get your take before i go any further. so to be clear, this thread is about the education system.
thanks for the shout! lol Ivan Illich summed it up well in the opening paragraph of the first chapter of his book "deschooling society". While i do think "qualifications" are good and further education worthwhile, i do see the flaw in the "assumed logic" that the more of a service you receive the better you are for it. The idea that someone who could afford 3 years education as an adult is more competent than someone who couldn't is so flawed i'm surprised it takes a 40 year old book to tell us.

Helvetii , I'll kill you . I've just spat a mouthful off coffee on my monitor thanks to your "Europe is country and everyone speaks French" . Dear God , I'm posting while loling . Thanks , I haven't laughed this hard in a while . Have some rep .
As bad as the education may be, that retarded sack of shit in the last video needs it by the bucket full. If i ever had to say to a grown up "yes, France is a country" i think i'd vomit.
Very nice quote and that's the first I've heard of Ivan so I will enjoy reading more of him. Also, my thoughts exactly!
