Where is your favorite place to sell domains? How much does the time of year matter when selling domains?

As far as forums go, I like DP and Namepros. With after markets, Sedo and TDNAM are good.

But don't places like Sedo take a $50 cut?

My domains gather dust over at Sedo, to me its more like a parking site than an auction house.

That is my fear with Sedo. How long have people taken to sell a domain there?

besides DP, DNF and Namepros, the known aftermarket are also good (sedo, afternic / buydomains, etc)

but there are some alternatives like zuho (already cited here) and freenameexchange.com

I sold only one domain so far and as I was not member of this forum (and as I understand I need much more than few posts to create posts in sell/auction directory) I used my own blog to sell it - I created something like auction and that worked well for me. :)

I actually started a website recently that is built just to sell & buy websites and also domains, it is in the starting stage & I would appreciate it if any of you would like to post your sites/domains "For Sale" or "Wanted" there. It gets a few visitors a day & growing so you might have some luck. I have big plans for the future to make it better and add new features....

I sold two domains at Afternic auction a few weeks ago for 75.00 each. After Afternic took their 60.00 cut per name I got 15.00 each off those domains. I like Ebay for selling names.

Forum is the best place to sell domains.
You get good response if you have good posts also in a forum.
