Where is (usually)located the STATS folder in a domaion name?

Hi!

I just read a post where a guy recommeneded going to yourcompetitorwebsite.com/STATS to see how much traffic he gets.

and IT WORKED!!!!

But not all sites have their Stats at domain.com/stats and this technique doesn't work the same for all sites

What else could I try?
