Where is this Traffic coming from?

My website usually does about 40 visitors a day. I recently started using Adwords and Yahoo PPC, and have received a few visitors a day from them. Over the past few days, I have received about an extra 60 visitors a day, but almost all of them Sitmeter says stay for 0 seconds. The locations are all real US cities spread out across the country, and are all from real servers 9Comcast, Bellsouth, EDu addressess, etc). Any ideas where they are coming from, or is there any better service than Sitemeter to figure it out? Thanks for any help.

Yeah...Sitemeter is weak...You may want to install Google Analytics...it's free. The other thing you could do is see if your server has AwStats installed. Those should help you get the data you need.

I've had a couple like that. The only reason I can think of is that they disconnect from the web page, so they can't send the time back to the server, so it comes out at 0.

I've had similar problems with one of our clients site. We use both Stat counter and Analytics for it, and StatCounter was showing too many visitors and page views on a day where as there was nothing unusual on Google Analytics. That was strange.

Google Analytics is good, but if you have some downloadable files (like PDF files) then you probably need to use AwStat (in addition) to get all the necessary information.

Other than that: Analytics, like others mentioned as well.
