where is this setting - to add comments one must be logged in.

    where is this setting - to add comments one must be logged in

    one of my blog is getting too much spam, some one is posting the same thing again and again, what is the easy way to stop that.

    looks like some kind of bot.

    Apprecite any help.

    Go to your admin and click on Options on the right side of the top nav and you will find it there!

    Forcing people to register before commenting will, in many cases, turn potential commentors away. Activate spam protection like Akismet instead.

    this is the corerct way..there check the correct option......

    yes but when u ask people to register and get free gifts..then they don't go away..this way on registering enhances relation between users and the author...so i prefer that...
