Where is the free best place to leave Amazon affiliate links ? [ aStores, blogs ]

Write blogs with related contents to aStore and embed links exchange each other. Have been 6 months so far with no income. So I would like to find the new way to promote affiliate links by submit to "Free web directory"

Can anyone suggest me any good sites regarding to your experience ?

I think that Blogger would be the best. However, I do not have great data to back that assertion up. Oh well.

 

Not many people have much luck with aStores, Amazon widgets, or other store-like sites. Try to build blog-based review sites and forget aStores.

 

@michael.... definitely blogs are the best... from what I heard click conversion using aStore is not that great if not ineffective.

 

I build product review blogs with 5-6 pages and photos of me with the product and have had decent sales. My problem is growing my traffic to acceptable levels. My conversions hover around 8-10% which is better than average.

 

@freelancewebaz -- that's high conversion rate. many affiliates report their conversion at 1-2%

 

Try creating a quality site that helps people accomplish something. In the process provide them with affiliate links to help them purchase items needed to get whatever it is accomplished. I'll give you a good money maker example...

-include equipment to buy(tv, dvd player, blueray player ect.)
-decorations to buy
-food/candy to have on hand
-Other information related to home theater systems

Then rank your site and you are on your way to making cash. Trust me

I used 6 blogger sites, i don't make any amazon conversions on them, however, I do make money with adsense and microsoft ads with blogger, one site pulls in nearly $500 in just ads on blogger

The problem with Amazon is that they only have 24hr cookies. What if someone buys after 2 days?

 

@dronehawk, there's a wordpress plugin that will let you extend that cookie to max, not sure what the max is, but it's something around 20+ days.

@varindia I was grandfathered into the program through yahoo publishers network and have been with them since. From what I hear, you can't use microsoft publisher network unless you are an app dealer or have massive traffic.

@officialrohan publisher.microsoft.com try to get in, you need some credentials though, and I can't give you any assistance, I was ushered in when they bought yahoo publisher network

Everyone else, most of your links are dead. The guy with no sales, your blogs are all taken down, the autopost guy, your link is dead.

I've created 2 more blogs that are legit content, only 10 - 11 posts so far, getting 30 hits a day for a "niche" on blogger. When they convert I'll post it. Also working on squidoo options, as well as traffic generation. I'm hoping things work out going forward.

 

Keep in mind that if you put links to Amazon on websites that aren't your own, you risk getting your account banned for breaching TOS.

Things like posting on a forum, deals websites, comments on other peoples websites/articles, links on Facebook, PPC etc. will likely get you in trouble.

 

you can get backlinks from high web and get traffic from that web such as: sign up account in wordpress, or blogger, regularly you post article in this web, . , if it is possible you can get backlinks from pr 7, 8, 9, example : squido etc, or social web exampe facebook etc, or write article and then submit to directory
more traffic more sales.

 

To get much money on affiliates, you need much traffic at first. Trial and error will give you important experiences.
