    Thats pretty cheap, but I recently read somwehere that it was posisble to get it for as little as $5. I have forgotten the name of the site.

    You can point the nameservers to your host but if you "transfer the domain" then won't you encounter domain transfer costs? Typically a transfer costs and extends the registration by a year.

    When you see registrars with offers lower than 6.25 which is their cost beware

    GoDaddy is NOT in my registrar list
