Hi all, Maybe the oldies in here can shed light on the true value of paying for a mentor/coach. I realize I can waste years trying everything out there. How many other people are just like me? How have you been positively/negatively influenced by your mentor(s)? Is a newbie better off getting a cheap source of help to start, then as the need grows move on to the high $ coaches? I ran across Terry Dean a few days ago and was wondering if anyone has an opinion on his service, as well as any other less-expensive starting mentor or coaching services? I know you get what you pay for, but is the value of any help to start better than floudering in the great newbie ocean if info? Thanks for the opinions & insights, Lance
Lance, My honest advice would be to find someone you know who you can meet with in person. I have never used the services of one of these Web-based "coaches," but I do know folks who have. They all say the same thing: they're not worth the high cost, and some of them even have no clue what they're talking about.
