Renewing a domain at Godaddy is very expensive. I would like to transfer them. Does anyone have any good suggestions as to where I should transfer them at a good price?

namecheap.com reliable but not the cheapest.
registerfly (they had some problems but i thinnk everything is sorted now)
name.com only used them for 1 domain and not as good as namecheap but they do the job

No they are not. Registerfly is a group of criminals, stay as far away as possible. They've lost their accreditation and are stealing peoples money now.

I appreciate the replies. It appears so far that 1and1.com is the best deal. Following the advice of Taylor Wilsdon, I have decided not to research registerfly.

If there are more suggestions, it would be much appreciated.

İf you use promo codes with godaddy you can save some bucks .But it is true it is still expensive..
    So 1and1 is best i think ...
may be 6,50 for ipower never tried before.

You can use Godaddy coupon that will reduce cost of renewal.

I suggest u stay at godaddy, its excellent registrar. others r cheap but u will face many problems.

I buy a domain + hosting just for $18 for 1 year, my site was down all the time, I then decided to transfer my domain, but my registrar, did not responded, I then contact many different people in order to get my transfer code, there was a time, when I thought that, I will never be able to transfer my domain, but finally I did it after 1 month.

What could wrong with registering a domain at 1and1.com? I can see how there can be problems if I use their hostsing services, but that is not my intent. Could it be possible that they would not let me point the domains where I want them to be hosted at?
