I'm looking to go into ppc ads and I am wondering if it is worth "cutting my teeth" at somewhere like goclick.com before I hit the big ones like adwords. Or is there something in between where I would be better off learning the ropes from a hands on point of view. TIA MK
I would start with AdWords - it's the best (in terms of traffic potential, conversions, and the interface) and in my opinion the easiest to use.
Thanks for the reply GuyFromChicago.I am just a bit frightened that it could be a very expensive way to learn (not having much of a budget).
You can control your budget very easily in AdWords. Just set it very low while you're learning your way around so learning doesn't turn out to be too expensive
Thankyou. As we say in UK.....You're a diamond Gonna give it a shot (as soon as my new cc comes through )
I think adwords is good try to look for search terms and use the one that are in the 5 6 7 position, that way you can get traffic an analyze the percentage of succesful clicks then you can start using high cost keywords. This also can help you to analize how your visitor surf your web. kind regards yourwebhosting.us
Hi Tia, I wouldn't mess with any PPC engines other than Google and Overture. I think you're going about this backwards. You should always start with Adwords. The secret is to fail fast. Spend whatever you need to get a good amount of clicks. Track which keywords convert and which don't. If non convert, you're either paying too much for your keywords, OR you're promoting a product that doesn't convert well. The best way to go about doing this is to send visitors to a "name-squeeze page" where you capture their name and email address in return for a special report that you've written on whatever you're selling. Then over the course of the next few weeks, you can follow up with them via email and increase your chances of converting them to a buyer. Brad
