Where is the best place for content writers to advertise?

    Hi everyone,

I am a content writer and would like to send some feelers out there to find out where the best places to advertise would be?

Currently I am advertising on websites such as Craig List & Gumtree. I was considering google adwords but have decided it may be an unprofitable idea.
It would probably be wise to register to a few more forums like DP.

Any additional information would be very appreciated.

    Regards,

    Antony. (www.Antony-Hayes.com)

I 'll suggest that you try Warrior Forum. It's really a greta place to advertise your services. It's a place where Internet Gurus hang out and they are just looking for people like you that can provide good content for them.

2.media buying in popular internet marketing blogs - just do not buy from all IM blogs.Look where there is high level of interaction between readers and the blogger,
3.sponsored post in some seo blogs .

I think you should try out checking with social networking sites and forums for writers, this could be helpful, I hope.

Thank you all for your replies. I am awaiting confirmation on Warrior Forum before I can post. Bobchrist, your link did help me spend a couple of hours browsing about and hopefully I will get a couple of results.

For other people looking for work I usually like spending time on Freelancewritinggigs.com. At the moment I am also writing for a content provider - Internet Brands, does anyone else have any other content providers that they write for?

    Regards,

    A. Hayes.

I haven't tried it myself, but I've heard some good things about Constant-Content.com.

You could bid on projects on places like Elance and GetAFreeLancer.

You can also try writing on associatedcontent.com, you won't get too much in the way of upfront payment (and can only get these if you're a US resident), but if you write content that draws a lot of views you could get some performance payments every month, and you can use your AC content portfolio as a display of your writing samples for potential clients.

    web master forums
