I have installed the Adwords tracking plan discussed here: http://www.clickbank.com/help/account-help/account-tools/integrated-sales-reporting/ Then, where I can find that tracking report in Clickbank account??
shand0, The tracking that you installed is for Adwords Conversions. These will not show in your Clickbank account, because Clickbank knows nothing about the keywords/ads/ad groups that were used to generate a particular purchase - only Google does. All Clickbank does, is it sticks your conversion id into the tracking script - it's the same as if you installed the script on your own website. If you have installed the tracking correctly and are using Adwords to promote a CB product, you can view the results in your Adwords account. Under the Reporting tab, click Reports and then generate a Report for what it is that you are interested in, making sure that the Conversion data is included. Hope this helps, Cel
Did you mean, Reporting >> Conversions at my Adwords account? Are clickbank conversions there? Thanks..
Okay, if you go to your AdWords account, Reporting -> Conversions is where you set up your conversion reporting. That's where you get you google_conversion_id from. On that page, you will indeed see your ClickBank conversions if you set up your tracking correctly, but the way the numbers are shown on that page is very simple and not very useful. If you want to do some serious conversion analysis, you should go to Reporting->Reports. There you will find a link "Create a New Report" which will let you do exactly that. The reporting function in AdWords is quite comprehensive, so I suggest you do some reading on it (try Google's help files) or just start trying things out. For example you can see how each of your keywords performed in terms of CB sales etc. Another thing, the Reports allow you to choose between two types of conversions: 1-per-click and many-per-click. If you are doing ClickBank, you are only interested in 1-per-click, because many-per-click will count every time a buyer visits the download page even if they made only one purchase, which is not very useful. Hope this helps, Cel
Oh yes, one more thing - you can also see conversions in AdWords Editor. In case you don't know, it's an offline tool (i.e. downloadable application) for managing your campaigns that is way more powerful than the Adwords website. If you are going to do any serious PPC work, you should really be using Adwords Editor and not the web interface, at least in my opinion. You can find the Adwords Editor if you go to the Opportunities tab in your account, then under Tools, click on More Tools and on that page you'll find a link "Download AdWords Editor". Cel
