Are you referring to a message that I wrote about a week ago? If that's what you mean, while my highest click was $2.75, the highest average was only $1.20 per click, for 50+ clicks. Also, I don't sell my keyword list because selling the entire keyword would quickly kill it. Rather I send out reports twice a week about current keywords and currenet payouts. Nobody wants to pay for outdated information that's no longer valid. If you meant some other keyword list, just ignore this message.

It depends on the source of your traffic. 95% of folks who play the AdSense game will NEVER be able to get decent rankings for popular keywords. It's never going to happen. There just aren't enough people who know enough about SEO and even if there were, there are only 10 top10 spots.
My traffic comes almost exclusively from Web 2.0 sites and regular readers (I'm talking about my news site, I also do affiliate sales and the traffic comes from AdWords). In my instance the topic of the news of utmost importance. Because people who come from Digg.Com and RedDit aren't really clickers. I've had CTR as low as 0.5% when traffic spikes up to 20000 or 30000 unique visitors in a matter of few hours. The range of earnings for this type of "heart attack" traffic in my experience is anywhere between 7 bucks and 60+ dollars. The difference is only the topic of the news and what ads are being displayed. My personal view is that because natural search engine ranking is something that's hard to master, you better track your earnings and figure out what pays and what doesn't. That what I've been doing for myself and it paid handsomely. If you are dependend on Google for traffic, you are screwed. You'll never make a dime until you rank well. And I'm just not willing to wait that long.

Don't worry too much about which keywords pay more. It'll take you more time to write content for terms you are not familair with than you are familiar with. EVERY niche has HIGH paying words some are .50 while others can be $28. Write content you are familiar and then research the high paying keywords in your niche.

Don't know about "lemon law" but asbestos and criminal defense lawyer have been on the MFA lists for a couple of years. These are dead for AdSense. They show high bids in Overture Bid Tool and AdWords Bids, but it means nothing. I've posted a short article about how you can use AdSense Preview Tool to see how many MFA advertisers there are and believe me, once you start seeing MFA advertise in your niche, the earnings are gone. I can give you an example of one niche that makes over 50 cents - "GMAT Prep". No MFAs yet. You can try and report your earnings here. It's been good for me, but unfortunately there just aren't that many news on the topic to publish.

Entirely NOT true. Music sites, movie reviews, TV shows discussions are just three niches that are known to deliver very low paying clicks. As in well below 10 cents on average. While you may not want to chase high paying niches (it's not a bad strategy), you absolutely want to stay away from niches that don't pay. Religion and related discussions is another topic that doesn't pay jack.

    What's MFA?

Well, of course i don't use the "high paying" keywords, they're too competitive - you'll need pr7-pr8 site to get some ranks there, but the trick is in finding those that can pay $.30-.50 per click and don't have too many competitors, those you'll need to find yourself  :p

I will disagree with you. If you drill down into any niche you can find HIGH paying keywords, you need to find dirrevatives and subniches. I guess we would need to first define HIGH paying keywords which I refer to anything over .50 cents. The other question is knowing how to capitalize and get the full bang for the click. (we'll leave that for another discussion)

Here is a .70 sample of Music and TV combination - American Idol

Here is a .48 sample of Movie and Religion
    Da Vinci Code

To openly state, that not all niches have high paying keywords is an error an your behalf. You and no one can control aspects of society. A while back the contreversy in sciencetology made it a nice keyword to pursue. There are many variables that make keywords hot one day and shit the next. Its like stocks, if you are on top of trends you'll find high paying keywords. Who would have thought that Oil would be $70 a barrel? I'm sure it would not be there if it wasn't for the Iraq war and the contraversy with Iran.

Okay you may not want to target Movie Reviews but you may want to target Movie Casting or Movie Schools. You can also target "music contracts" ($0.86). You need to think out of the box. You need to spend time and research your niche.

    Enough said!

The article can be read at
    http://adsensespoiler.blogspot.com/2006/04/big-high-paying-keywords-secret.html

Now, let's look at your example of Da Vinci Code. A perfect example of where people go wrong. THIS WORD WILL NOT PAY YOU 50 CENTS PER CLICK.
    Now, watch this trick.
Enter "Da Vinci Code" in Google. The first link you'll get is
    www.danbrown.com/novels/davinci_code/reviews.html

Now, go to AdSense preview tool
    http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/adsense-sandbox/
    and plug in
    www.danbrown.com/novels/davinci_code/reviews.html
This will show you what ads Google would show on a page that's ranked #1 for Da Vinci Code. Not a surprise, they are all mostly about Da Vinci Code.
Now, click all 20 of those ads.
The first thing you'll see that the top Overture bid (the one that's worth 48 cents - www.sodarktheconofman.com ) isn't advertising with Google AdSense at all. So you won't get that 48 cent click. More importantly, you'll see a bunch of ads like this one

    The DaVinci DeCoder
    Looking to discover the truth?
The DaVinci Code will change you.
    www.da-vinci-code-books-decoder.com

That's an ad for some guy's blog. How much is he paying? Probably 5 cents. Once you click all ads and see what they are trying to sell you and for how much, you'll get an idea how much Da Vinci Code might be worth to AdSense publisher. My guess is 5 cents to 10 cents max.

The example of "da vinci code" was purely for illustrative purposes (as were my other examples) but never the less here is some relevant information regarding the term (using 3rd Party product). Like I said everything is relative to "enviromental conditions" as well as supply and demand, I have my methodology and am happy with it.

    Keyword - da vinci code
    Results - 43,100,000
    Searches - 310,822
    R/S Ratio - 138.66
    KEI - 2,241.54
    Adwords CPC - $0.52-$0.64
    Adwords position - 1-3
    Adwords clicks - 53-66
    G Campaigns - 21
    Y Campaigns - 12

What I don't agree with, is you saying that NOT ALL niches have high paying words. I differ in that opinion and find it misleading. If I wanted to research and spend the time on the niches you indicated that do not have high paying keywords (over .50 cents) I would find them. And as I stated in my earlier post, there are other startegies that will help you maximize the value of the clicks.

Dude, you are missing the point. If you stick to Da Vinci Code, you'll be getting a bunch of 5 to 10 cent clicks. You'll need a lot of traffic to get rich off that. The third party solution you are referring to is AdSenseAccelerator? Sorry, it's inaccurate.

My point is that not all niches have high paying keywords. Look at it this way. Is there such a thing as "expensive bread". Well, may be. You may be used to paying a dollar or two dollars for a loaf of bread and then you see a four dollar french artisan bread. And you might be inclined to say - wow, it's expensive. But it's not. You can't make a living selling 10 "expensive" breads a month.
But there is such a thing as expensive car or expensive house. And you might be able to live off selling 10 houses a year (if you are a realtor). I don't understand your persistence, because it's not exactly a secret that there are some (a lot of them, actually) AdSense niches that don't make any profit. AdSense is just like real business. Airlines as an industry (let's forget SouthWest for a while) don't make any money. You'd be dumb to invest in airlines. But other industries, say the oil industry, do make a crap load of money. As with any business, with AdSense all you you need to do is to follow the money.

And there are only two ways to derermine if the niche is profitable or not.
The first way is the correct one. Set up tracking, log in our AdSense account and see if it's making you money or not. The second way is the wrong way - use Overture Bid Tool, AdWords data or some software that doesn't show you real AdSense earnings but show top bids for SEARCH and make a guess that probably won't be near the accurate payout figures, not by a longshot.

THEY DO and no one is going to hand them to you on a silver platter you need to research them. Thats my point can't you not read?

Great example!!! But then again why would I settle for selling artisan bread for $4 when I can sell Sunbeam Bread Making Machines for $99 and make more of a living? See what I mean about researching?

It not my persistance, its your inability to understand and acknowledge that hidden in every niche ARE high paying keywords. PROFIT <- How do you define as profit? In real business you need to account for every single expense. (time, supplies, utilities etc) Just because you get a $500 adsense check doesn't mean you're making a profit especially if you spend $2500 on adwords to get that traffic.

Two ways? You better stop while you're ahead. Thats the biggest load of crap I have heard in a long time! How about affiliate links for instance? Multiple revenue streams! What a concept! What might not be a "profitable" niche in adsense MAY be using a different type of revenue mechanism.

Just because you are seeing clicks on your adsense account doesn't mean you're making money. You need to take into account the costs assoicated with getting the clicks - How much are you paying for hosting? How much are you paying for adwords? How much is your time worth? How much are you paying for promotion? You also have to look at your onpage and offpage dynamics that may also effect what ads are served to you. Scraper or MFA sites will most likely get low paying ads than authorative sites!
