Where is most affective clicking?

Hi

I would like to know where i could place my Google Ads on my site so i can get the most clicks i can get from my site. Does anyone know where abouts is the best instead of having an enormous leaderboard at the top of the page which looks hideous!

Going off the surfing site:

Top center (or below intro): 480x60
Left nav: Nested ad links block

Isn't that much room to get ads in within content.

 

I was thinking maybe in your left nav and make them look like they are part of the links?

The main site in my sig gets quite a good CTR without being even slightly dominated by ads - I also didn't want a large block of ads at the top.

 

I can see why. Your use of graphical images above the ads is very very good
