I search for "refrigerator magnets" and I get the following results: http://www.google.com/search?q=refrigerator+magnets

my site is listed #4 and says:
    Promotional Products and Refrigerator Magnets.
Guaranteed success promotional products campaigns using refrigerator magnets and other items.
    www.web-magnets.com/ - 38k - Jun 29, 2005

Where did it get the wording for the description? (the underlined above)

I have noticed similar peculiarities with Google descriptions. In particular, they can be 1/2 the normal length. seems to be mainly for competitve keywords.

I have always noticed that they create the description from the words on your page and that they make the keywords bold.

    They do that too.

It has always been advised to write a good description though as you don't know where they will pull from.
