    Hello everyone,

I was really into AM about three years ago and built a few succesful sites but than lost interest because my day job became very busy. My sites not being touched in two years average over 500 hits a day.

Im wondering if things have changed since I have been out of this game for a while. I built a bunch of new websites in the first week of february. I added all original content, submitted to SEs and SEOed the sites as I used to. I have been working on the sites for over a month and I still have 0 visitors from search engines? Im recieving maybe one visitor a week on each site from the SEs and mostly from google images.

I rememer three years ago it would take about two weeks and I would see traffic trickle in at a steady pace but now nothing. What gives?

    Thanks, Joe

I dont expect it to rank for main keywords so soon but atleast pick up so long tail searches. The only way I see myself on Google is if I search the domain name.

How long does it usually take to get consistent visitors maybe like 20+ a day?

Getting traffic usually depends on what you write and how you optimize your website. Technology, Entertainment, etc always receive huge traffic

Three years ago, there were less competitors but now It's just become a challenge to hold on ranking. I suggest you to start SEO campaign with both on and off page. You can make huge traffic after optimizing.

Well, you cant predict how much time it would take to get the right amount of traffic. It entirely depends on what techniques you are following and what sources you are targeting to get the traffic...

Since you are back in AM... try some of these techniques..
    - Social Media sites (May be social bookmarking sites can help you in getting high traffic in short time, but it definitely require some quality work on your website...!) can act as rank booster for your website..
    - Viral Reports can do a lot for you, distribute your niche write-ups (linking back to your website) and just make it viral through mailing, blogs etc. etc.
    - If you are ready to pay some price for traffic then do try your hands on PPC or PPV marketing too!
