Just joined digitalpoint. Browsed the forum regarding my problem. I got same errors like previous post like

Account not not yet activated. | Site failed automatic validation as of 2004-12-15 (make sure URL and site type is correct - if everything is correct, make a request in the forum for assistance).

Tried to activate and weight my site, I got no ads on my site. I already created a textual ads for my domain. Pending review.

What I don't understand is what kind of ads I should put in my site in order to activate or whatever ? My own ads? Or should somebody else ads ? Where is ads codes?

Sorry for the dump question. Just somehow confusion.

    Thanks,
    HG

When you are in the co-op ad tool website click on the 'Setup Instructions' at the top of the page for the info you need to ad ads to your site.

That's why you don't validate. After you installed all code and files as per the instructions, yo should see 1-5 ads from other people on your site, sitewide (or at least folder-wide). If yuo don't show our ads, you won't validate. Show ours first and the system will let you join.

Thanks for help. I got the codes and upload/chmod them into my php-enabled server. Also put the code into my webpage.

Since my site is static site with lot of pages, I couldn't change all of them in order to test the code and validation. Then I tried to change my URL into a specific webpage like links.html. When I tried to validate, still failed because the my URL become mydomain/links.html/(more forward slash).

Is there any way to make the validation easier and effective?

Yes.. By complying to the rules.

The ads need to show domain wide or folder wide. You can not just have it on one page, it won't work. There is a thread called 'Ads on HTML pages without footer' and that explains how to get the ads site-wide without changing all individual pages.

OK. I reset my account to one of my blog sites in order to easily add the code into my template. Under my main domain, I host 6 blogs through blogger ftp publishing using subdirectory, not subdomains.

I set up my account to one of blog sites, but I add the coop codes into my main domain and all 6 blog sites( 6 subdirectories), since they are related to each other.

I also chmod all codes into 777. When I tried to validate my account, I still got ads not found at xxx/affiliate-marketing/ (one of my blog) . My account is still not activated.

    Where is wrong?

I've got exact same problem. Are you suppose to chmod ad_network.php to 777?
