Where is a Paypal Debt card good ?

I was recently approved for a Paypal DEBT card which rocks since I shouldn't have to wait for my bank to quit dragging its' ass when I want to withdraw funds now & I was wondering, where are these cards good at ?

I think Paypal mentioned they're accepted anywhere Mastercard is accepted, I don't know where that is though, I've only ever had cards with a Visa logo on them.

    Hey there,

I just applied for the PayPal debit card yesterday cause I have the same issue, bank taking ages to process a withdrawal...How long did it take for you to have it approved?

Anyways, I am pretty sure you can use it just like a regular debit card. My intentions are simply to withdraw my PayPal funds through an ATM

Ya it is only available for US citizens. It's a bit unfortunate because some of the best features of PayPal like the Debit Card and Security Key are only available to US citizens.

I've had my Paypal account for a few years. I opened it with the last few dollars I had on a Visa gift card just to see what it was about.

I didn't use the account for at least a year.

A few months (maybe 6) ago I started accepting funds using my paypal account for things I sell and services I provide.
After about a month of doing so I attached a bank account to it & started withdrawing funds through it.

A few weeks ago I attached a prepaid Visa card that I had to wait for in the mail to the Paypal account.
I applied for the Paypal DEBT card a few days after I attached that credit card & received an approval 2, maybe 3 days later.

I'm supposed to recieve my card in the mail in 2-4 weeks and it's been about a week so far.

PayPal takes their time when it comes to mailing stuff. It took me two weeks to receive the PayPal Security Key - and as a domestic resident that is pretty sad, lol

I got my card in the mail today, that was quick. I think it took less than 2 weeks from application to holding the card in my hand.

It's a nice card too, platinum colored and professional looking with a strip on the end which reads "Business Debt" & the Mastercard logo.

I've got the Paypal Top up / debit card (Not debt...that's something quite different) in the U.K.
It's a visa electron card - the most useful thing I find is that money goes onto it a lot quicker than withdrawing to my bank account - only one day (still too long - why isn't it immediate?) rather than 5 days.
Also - as long as you top it up from your Paypal account, and don't take out cash, no charges.

    Top it up ?

This card I have supposidly draws directly from my Paypal balance, and optionally dips into backup funding sources I define.

One thing I really like is I can text "bal" to Paypal from my mobile and get my balance in about 10 seconds. :D

Well my card is good at the convenience store down the street from me.
I like how Paypal sends me an email when I use the card.

As stated above - also available in the UK - that's a different country to the USA, by the way, it's the one that invented the English language

Lol the PayPal DEBT card sure put me in debt. I used there plug in for the debit cards and they sure had a FIELD DAY with my bank account!

Perhaps next time I use a payment processor I will read there TOS in full!

Well I've had this card for a month and a half now, and it's been getting accepted just like any other credit or debit card.
