    I've got several quality sites and whenever I'm approached by an advertiser I get offered peanuts. Some of my sites receive a lot of visitors, but I don't know how to sell proper advertising on them. If I sell them on forums or webmaster community sites, I'd have to undersell. How do some of you find advertisers who are willing to pay a good amount for quality advertising space?

    Are there anyone here who contact potential advertisers directly?

    Try contacting companies who are already advertising online (through Adwords for example.) You already know they have an online advertising budget, you just have to sell them on how awesome your site is.

    Get into direct contact with the companies whose publicity appears on adsense at your site or when you use the search engine.

    You can get up to 1.3 USD per click under a direct arrangement, far better than any google adsense.
