I have created several fiction stories and I want to sell it. Can you suggest a place or site that buy this kind of writing stuff?
Definitely publish them on the Amazon Kindle marketplace. That's your best shot. You can also submit it to Smashwords (www.smashwords.com) and they will publish it to almost all the other marketplaces for you in one shot. If you want to publish it as a hard cover you can use CreateSpace or LuLu. They do print on demand and will list you on Amazon and other marketplaces.
Rob is one an individual who publishes short stories in a targeted newsletter. Rob outsource creative and technical writers to take care of my writing needs. Rob prompt with payment and seek to develop lasting, working relationships with freelance individuals. Rob rarely deal with businesses or firms with a lot of writers on staff. Mainly because it is difficult to maintain style consistency.
You can also sell them on Tradebit.com or at least I think you can. It is a digital marketplace where you can "publish and sell" just about anything from ebooks to sound files. I didnt even think about Kindle. Duh to me!! Oh well....it never hurts to have options so give this site look see. I havnt had time to totally check out everything but I did see some ebooks that looked fictionish! Oh and I am pretty sure you sell them direct to the customers at tradebit if that matters to you at all.
You can sell them through Amazon/Kindle. You might want to check oDesk too. The last time I looked in there, there were people looking for fiction writers and stories. Hope that helps. Have a good day!
This is an exercise in infinite v. scarce goods. I could frankly talk about this all day but I would suggest having a blog and a range of other things. If you are not well known I would be giving away a range of things for starters as well. The trick here is to figure out how to connect with fans and give them a reason to give you money..... The folks at techdirt.com talk about this often. It may seem crazy at first that you would give things away. I get that. However, its not crazy, at all Hope that gets the wheels turning a bit but I gather that may be a tad vague. I am not real alert yet today. Nigel
If the stories are at least say 100 pages or have a similar topic and as such could be sold as a compilation then I would recommend selling them on Amazon's Kindle marketplace. If the stories are just a few pages then you could sell licenses to publish them or ownership of them via constant-content.com
One thing to add. Def Amazon Kindle BUT if you do publish on multiple platforms remember they pretty much all have benefits for people who ONLY publish with them. So Amazon gives you benefits if you don't do Nook or whatever. But if you do all of them, you can't get those specific benefits. But you can only use that one platform for that particular book. It's hard to know which is more beneficial.
