Well, godaddy already provides cheap .info domain names only @ $1.99 + ICANN Fee. And, I think the other GODADDY 99 CENT SPECIAL PROMO works for .info too. ( 80% sure ) Maybe the other coupon codes like 10% off any purchase works with .info too. Search for it on search engines to find promo codes. All in all, you can't buy .info domain lower than 1.99$ without promo code and except a good account panel which godaddy provides.
GoDaddy is not longer offering 99 cents INFO domains. Price is $1.99 +ICANN fee as already said, even though the lower price compared with other registrars and really good indeed. There is a coupon code however for COM domains at $7.49 on my sig.

Recently I have purchased 1and1 info for 0.99, but be careful since most of them apply NORMAL (usually high price) after 1 year. So if you need it only for 1 year it's not important that much, choose 1and1.

i think Godaddy is a good place to buy domains with reasonable rates.it also provides .info domains at cheapest rates.
I suppose you can check for the current promotions now on all existing domain name registrars. Hopefully you will find something interesting.
