    Hi experts !
    I am making a news website on wordpress, i can't upload Google site verification html code direct on server root file, so ! i want to place site verification meta tag in theme editor. But i can't find the proper file where to add meta tag after first <head> and b4 <body> any wordpress expert can tell me where it is starts i mean in header.php or main index page.php or ??? please tell me exact locaton </head></body> end in footer.php where it is starts? i need more tips to improve seo of rohinews.com. Please help me bcuz i am new.

    You can place it anywhere in the Head Section, in the header.php propably without breaking any other template tags or PHP Codes.
    And For SEO, Its best to use All In On SEO if you want things go Fine Without much HAvoc on Yourself!!

    I have already posted it in header.php in right place i have also place bing and yaho meta tag also here yahoo and bing has verified the site but google webmaster is not verified !!! Confused...

    Check that the tag is not broken, and not inside another tag (other than the <head> tag.

    If you're sure that there's not a problem, click the verify again button!

    Perhaps theres a plugin that will also do this for you? It's probably not necessary considering it's just one line, but it would mean that you wouldnt have to change the source code every time you change the theme.
