In TV's worst spring in recent memory, a startling number of Americans drifted away from television the past two months: More than 2.5 million fewer people were watching ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox than at the same time last year, statistics show. http://www.cnn.com/2007/SHOWBIZ/TV/05/09/tv.missingviewers.ap/index.html There is always hope The only problem is that they now may be glued in front of the TV watching cable.
Who needs television when you have the internet? I bet that's what took people away, that and bad TV shows.
even i have drifted from tv to dp! actually i don't get time for anything, these days am full time here,
Well day by day people using more internet, and they getting all breaking news, video etc on internet, why even they need to watch tv?
I agree. The Internet is superior to television in every way imaginable. The only time I turn on my television is to play my Xbox, Playstation, or Dreamcast. I laugh at anyone who runs out and buys a Plasma television. I have a 13 inch television, and thats all I want. The Internet and books are more important. Reading can increase your IQ. Watching television will make it go down, trust me......... Most of the tv shows suck these days anyway. Other than 24, what else is worth watching? The only show I watch is 24, and I watch it on the web. Yeah, television is done, and its about time. And ABC and NBC can forget about trying to buy out the Internet and take over. I don't want to watch any network that they control. Period.

Haha. I have a 19" TV, and I don't watch it all that much. Everything that makes my life complete is in the weight room and sitting on my computer desk.
Watching TV doesn't pay my bills. It's only useful after I've worked myself to death and need to vegetate until my brain recovers. Even then, I only watch Adult Swim and Comedy Central.
Who really wants to spend their time watching re-hashed shows with really no new content. even the so-called "reality" shows have warn off their newness a few years ago. The internet is killing TV.
It's true! How can TV compete with all of those websites streaming videos showing guys accidentally hit in their crotch (America's Funniest Home Videos, bad lip syncing (American Idol) or funny commercials? I like The Office though. That's always fun to watch.
