Cool pic! but seriously, I think that they are only figures..very few people use 2gb of email space.

 

I saw two Google truck coming in circuity city while i was waiting online during the black Friday sales

 

i guess only 20-30% will use 2gb space.thats just a way of promotion,over hotmail and yahoo.

 

yeah! overselling! Gmail overselling! always the revenue comes with those who does not get the full of it, which happens to be the majority, Free Ipods any one?

 

I agree with others google is smart and they know what they are doing but i did not get that picture

I think there will definitely be people using lots of space as I believe one person will have more than one account and the total space will took up more than 2gb of space.

i am currently only using 31mb of my gmail space and its never really much more than that

 

Guess you are one of those who clear their mails frequently.

 

I doubt I have come anywhere close to Gmail's current limit, and I'm not sure if I ever will, that area is HUGE, and I only rarely recieve immages in the mail, mostly just text.

 

And this is over 1 years worth of email.... Opened the account May 2005.

Still, i would have exceeded hotmails limit..

I had my gmail account completely full last month. A friend of mine started dumping funny videos and all sort of stuff.

Wow, are they allowed to do that? Can't be good for the environment?

 

Guys why you are fogetting that there is also a software "gamil drive", we can install this software and then a new drive named Gmail Drive will appear in our my computer and there we can upload our data by our gmail account and use the whole space.
What u think ?

 

Well maybe this is the future of G drive although i don't use even 100 mb there.
