    Hi Everybody,

I want to get help for doing on page optimization in WordPress. I want to set meta tags(title, keywords, description), XML sitemap, increase site speed, Google analytic and webmaster access, permalink set up with redirection and more.

I am confused about H1 tag. One of my friend told me , you can use one h1 tag for each page. But If my blog home page contains 5 posts then can I use 5 h1 tags for 5 posts?

I can optimize image with alt tag & title tag.

Please tell me which plugins should I use for doing this work?

Please also suggest me the main factors of on page optimization. Please let me know with details.

    Thanks & Regards,
    MD.SADDAM HOSSAIN

You should use a good theme (premium is better). They're perfectly build for On page optimization.
For SEO of blog use WordPress SEO by Yoast which will help you in Meta keywords, XML sitemaps, google webmasters and analytics.
Permalinks are setup in Settings >> Permalinks and choose %%postname%%
TO make your website faster use a good theme (already said), Reduce the use on unnecessary plugins, Enable W3 Total Cache and a good host also.

Hi. You should use H1 for you MAIN keyword only! Do not use it for titles (use H2 instead!). H1 for your main keyword and try to have ONE main keyword on EVERY page. So you'd better write your Wordpress title as a H1 tag and Article titles H2 ;) ;) ;)

And make sure that you don't use too much of H1's. Having too much of key word density may affect you too.

Actually in WordPress at homepage and other pages the heading are H2 and only in posts the title is H1 just check it in source code.
