Other than flippa, or dp where would be the best place to sell a website?
I have a site that is a bit hard to sell, probably because of the knowledge of the subject to maintain it and would like to try selling it elsewhere.

You can list your website on sedo.com, other places I can think of are websitebroker.com, siteindeed.com and marketplace of digitalpoint.

My thought about sedo was that it was mostly for domain names.

I've bought one site, and listed 5 or so on it. The best thing it has going is that it costs nothing to list sites forsale (unlike flippa which costs $30).

Have you been keeping your ads on the site when listing them there? I have taken them off in the past, but someone told me not to bother.

I think it's ok to keep those ads on, we are not break any rules. What is your website about? How much you expect from it?

The site is a linux site, so the owner needs to know about linux to be able to write articles on it well.

I keep ads on my site when selling. When I don't see AdSense on a site for sale, I assume that its banned from AdSense.
