I am seeing a lots of activity on my sites from

    \wbot[\/\-]
    Code (markup):
It is some bot but I don't understand what does it stands for.

For now I have blocked it on the sites it was creating this bandwidth havoc. But just would like to know what it was.

    Thanks.

Why don't u check its origin location by checking its IP using your website admin panel and if it is eating too much bandwidth of your website, just block this bot using htaccess by its ip adresses.

These bots could be using a range of IP, why don't you block that IP range..:)
