Just wondering. do you know from what country you get ysm support? sometimes when I e-mail them I get a reply from a person who has an Indian name or sometimes an American name so I'm a little bit curious from where the support is coming from. And sometimes the time of the replies that I get through e-mails varies even if it's not in the scope of the PST time I still get replies. Now why is that?

I don't actually know, but I'd imagine that they outsource generic support to the cheapest labor that can do it: likely in India. The tougher stuff they probably do inhouse.

I believe so too, but sometimes I do get replies from reps with American names, but they don't follow the pacific time. because sometime I still get replies even if it outside the support hours based on pacific time. I thought they follow this strictly.

Yahoo! has many operation centers they are scattered across the globe. I also think that it is irrelevant where the support comes from as long as you are provided with the solution. I do however disagree with outsourced call centers I can't understand them, but in my experience all support from yahoo has been very nice, although they did falsely accuse me of something in which my account was suspended in which I had a 3 character LLL.com name tied into it that I lost due to them refusing me access to my account, the sadder thing is it expired and Yahoo is now the proud owner of it. I am taking legal actions against them thou.
