I keep wondering all this time, where do they actually gain their profit from ? They not actually sell the product .. give some points if u r an expert in this area plz ..
Ads .. I dont see any adsense .. but there is a sponsored links .. they got something like affiliate with those giant company or what ?? They must have written permission to use all the contents and image, am I rite ??
Adsense is far from the only game in town I see quite a few ads from various companies and pitches for product sales all over their site. I'm sure they generate multiple streams of income from their site network. With the domains/traffic they have it wouldn't be that difficult.
Ok let say I want them to review my product, I'll have to pay them rite ? But I dont see anything related to it .. But there's a link to advertise the product, but there's no price stated there, do they discuss it private ??
I need a detail explaination bout this, some company contacting me to review their business and display it on my site, but i actually dont know how to make a deal, charge them or for free ? if charge, what is the market price ?? where can i find some information to it ? i actually not in this business b4, i use to buy & sell computers, this is the jump-start for me and it's great, site up for 2 days, i got contacted, u guys might think this is the worst question u've ever heard .. but i need a clue to it ..
Among some of the other items mentioned here, CNET also provides their marketing content (product descriptions) to other wholesalers that sell that technology. One example is The Business Network, which supplies many technology company websites with their back end store. The web-store can choose to use CNET product descriptions to be included with their product catalogue, rather than writing all their own.
So their writing reputation stands for a price .. hmmm .. good tactics .. I learned a lot from this site
As far as I know, the ads are adsense. Instead of "Ads by Goooooogle" they have the "Sponsored Links". You can have that if you get an insane amount of clicks per day.
Well, I don't know if it's a business or product you have to actually review. Most review sites don't charge companies anything to review the products, because that will skew the credibility of the review in the users eyes (you are paid, so you are gonna give them a good review). What you can do is review the product/business and then give the company the option to advertise on that specific page. Or you can for example say that you will review it, provided that they take out an advertising deal for your site for a month (or more).
Keep in mind if you are doing reviews a la Cnet that advertisers don't like bad reviews, and so it can difficult to keep advertisers if their products aren't good and then you are going to be honest and give them bad reviews. That's why so many reviews say such nice things about products.
that's make senses.. , i want to allow others to also post their comments about the product but when reading your thots, i wonder that could be initialize or not .. hmmm .. still thinking ..
