Where does my downloaded PDF go???

    I just downloaded a PDF and it never ask me where I wanted it to be stored, I cant find it on my computer!!!

    I did a search and nothing... how do I locate it?

    Use find files (or search) can't recall which it iscalled. In the box type *.pdf

    That will show you all the pdf files on your computer.

    If this search does not find it, it is not there.

    Usually goes into your temp directory, unless its set to another location (such as your desktop) in your browser settings. Definitely check your browsers settings to make sure.

    Otherwise check your windows temp directory which should be located here:
    C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Local Settings\Temp

    Make sure to replace the username with your own.

    If you're using Linux, it might be sitting in your personal-account's home directory:

    /home/yourname

    For some reason this is the default on my machine except with images, which go to my Desktop.
