Hey, Just out of interest - for those using tracking software (analytics e.t.c) where does most of your traffic come from for your blog. e.g what sites/blog directories? at the moment i'm getting most of my traffic from this forum (people clicking on sig) suprisingly. Aswell as Myboglog (recomended) and mylot. x
This forum can give you great traffic. Given the niche of your site and the title in your sig, I don't find it surprising that a large number of your visitors come from here
20% from RSS feed subscribers 30% from search engine results 30% from My Blog Log, and other communities 10% from forum sigs 10% from inbound links and articles I'm not sure if that's a balanced attack, but I'm happy with the way it is spread out so far.

Hey there Alisha, nice to bump in to you again I'm getting most of my traffic from MyBlogLog, signatures, and link exchanges with other blogs. Still working my way up the SE ladder here!
I have a blog that gets a reasonable level of traffic - but I'm sure it's peanuts compared to some of the big guys. Excluding CPC, I'd say that basically, 35% of it is Google organic search, 25% is a due to a link I lucked into getting, and the rest comes from being on blogrolls, bookmarks, and participating in the odd blog carnival. If I hadn't been linked to by a certain site Google would be even more significant.
working for 3 months everyday 8-10 hours now i have 6 blogs updated everyday honestly everyday i find at least 5 forums, i register and put my blog links(accoding to the subject)..i dont get from signatures... isubmit stories to digg it netscape etc.. my 4 blogs are about celebrities and i put sexy gif pictures to link between my blogs when click on it also the others are cool stuff and every of them are linked between them.. also mybloglog is not bad.. but first of all i you must update your blog everyday i mean really work hard and then wait
Share your URL's. I knew that when I started this blog, that competition is steep for viewers, and the niche' is distinct, but large around the world with newer markets getting stronger is countries coming out of the "third world". Many times I find that most directories don't have an appropriate category, and i have to suggest one if there is an option to do so. I think that may hider my listings sometimes.
For the site in my sig (while I still owned it at least): ~30% social bookmarking (e.g. digg, reddit) ~30% links in ~25% StumbleUpon ~10% Readers just typing in address ~5% Search Engines Don't know how much from sigs and things like that, just lumped into links-in (traffic was upwards of 10K uniques/day, so I didn't look at the smaller referrers).
82% of my traffic is organic. Out of that google traffic is 74%. Rest comes from inbound links, social bookmarking, etc.
