Great question that I never known the correct answer. But I am pretty sure that they collecting and reselling information about buyers. Example: They are watching what are you buying exactly. If they find that most of people that buy milk and chip, and at the same time they buy a Playboy and Kleenex, they can sell this information to market, and market use this information to make "rebate" or by placing the product near of each one other. Probably they have a small amount of money from business that provide Air Miles.
yeah I figured that they make their money from selling information, but are there are other sources of revenue? I'm fairly sure that there are and I would love to figure out what they are....
