Where do you start if i want to change my website into a forum?

    i have a website i want to make it into a forum where members can sign-up/login & upload share and view pictures/video.
    im a newbie sorry.

    There are tons of free forum softwares. If your a newbie, I am not sure if you will know how to install them. But look up phpbb.com or invisionfree.com

    I am just going to be honest here. Forums are very hard to run, and to get traffic to be steady, and stay. I wouldn't waste your $ on VB. If you see your forum takes off, and want to take advantage of VB's features, then you can change over.

    oh like what would be the difference between having a registration and getting a free one ? i woud like the site to generate money through ads as it is now i've gotten 30 bucks in 5 days with
    2,567 unique vistors and 4,711 visits , and 33,209 pages, again this is just from 5 days but would it be worth iti think i can grow more statistically wise.

    Yes, there is bbPress, It's free and awesome. Along this you can use it's plugin called "BBPress:Syntax Hiliter"
