Well I prefer to watch movies in theaters as it is best way to enjoy the movie with friends and you can spend 3 hours with your friends, family or may be with Girlfriend. I go almost every week with my girlfriend to spend 3 hours.
I love to go to the theater from time to time but I can't actually enjoy a movie there. People talk in their cellular phones and people complain all the time. But the worst thing of all is when people laugh at the wrong time. Every time I hear a lame joke people are laughing. I mean, they don't know what the hell humor is. That's why I enjoy watching blu-ray movies on my 58" TV from home with my girlfriend.
I haven't been to the cinema in say 6 years! I don't really have a need to spend money there I just watch them online
It depends on how I'm feeling, sometimes I love the thrill of being at the cinema with the surround sound, it can be easier to get sucked into the films. When you're watching comedies sometimes it makes it funnier to have other people there laughing along with you. However sometimes I like to cuddle up at home with my gf and watch a few cheesy films, or scare the crap out of her with my extensive horror collection. So in conclusion I think it depends on the occasion and sometimes the genre of film
Honestly speaking, if I am alone, I prefer to watch it at home only..and if I am with a company, it is up to my friends to decide, and I don't mind either way. Usually, I prefer watching them at home because I don't need to get ready and everything for going to watch them, and moreover, I can eat anything of pause the movie anytime if I am at home..in short, I am more free to enjoy the movies at home...it is just my opinion though.
