Hello, I need opinions please. I was talking to a friend that writes articles and he was telling me that one of the best or easiest (not sure that they are the same personally) marketing techniques was to write articles and post them in various places, eg ezinearticles and so forth. He then went on to tell me that by re-writing a minor part of the article is enough to fool search engines that the article is an entirely new one (it mightnt fool a live reader, but will fool google, etc.). He then showed me a piece of software that he used to automatically rewrite articles (sorry I didnt quite catch the name of it, but I could try and find out if people want to know). Anyway, at the end of his "demo" he had like 1000's of the same article all written slightly different...it was quite impressive actually. My question is this though...how would one make use of 1000 copies of this article, obviously you couldnt post them all at a site like ezinearticles, I'm sure they aren't stupid and wouldnt accept that many of what really amounts to the same article written differently. Is there any benefit to actually having that many articles? Thanks for any replies.
Maybe not 1000s, but a good dozen or more can be useful. You could post one slightly different on each article directory, not all in the same article directory. So that google will not consider them (all pages on different sites) to be the same article. I don't know how well it works though.
You'd post them to individual sources either manually or by using software/service. One thing I'll do is write an article, post to a site of mine then rewrite it X times for EZA/others. I don't do thousands of times as that's pointless. If my goal isn't SEO related, I'll just write the article once and blast it out. There are a lot of things you can do out there with rewritten articles (hubs, blogs, article promos, lists, etc).
