Previously in an Apartment (Ground Floor) but since last 10 days in my own house (Row House - Ground+first floor). DON.
I'm in an apartment of my very own. It's awesome. I finally have the freedom I've been DYING for. No parents making me do shit. No grumpy landlord living in the house I'm renting a room out of... It's great. It's a 1 bedroom, but it's got a nice, spacious living room / dining room area and it has a balcony so I can see the cars a'movin on the street and the mall right across the street. I hope everyone gets to live in an arrangement they feel is right for them.
the question stands interpreted in ways! where in the west (US/ Canada) children usually move out and live on their own, in the east (India, and go further East) it is not so, unless you changing towns for your job you usually get married and stay in the same house,... perhaps build a first floor, and the floor above for the younger sibling!! me -> India, yes living with my parents so far!
I moved into an apartment around 5 months ago to go to College, I am lovin living on my own my parents were starting to drive me nuts.

I live on the beach literally I sleep 20 meters from the ocean and the best thing is I pay nothing for it. I live the ultimate dream people pay allot of money to live like I do and I do it all for 0$ life on the beach cant beat it!!!!!
