Where do you go to find new ideas?

Often times new ideas for a product will come to me in mid conversation, or while I'm driving down the street. But I do have some online resources that I like to tap for new ideas. Here are a few of my favorites:

eBay - While they haven't been very good to their sellers lately, I still like to browse the different categories for ideas. Often times you can look at feedback, and products for sale, and can tell which items are really moving. You can also look at their "what's hot" page for good ideas.

Another good one is Google Trends. A good way to find a hot niche, is to know what people are searching for. If they are searching, then they need an answer. You provide the answer.

Another one of my favorites is FixYa. Nothing but people searching for answers here - what a gold mine. If you can provide an answer, to some of the hot questions, you'll make a killing here.

There are literally thousands of places online where you can look for inspiration. I like doing my research on websites where there are lots of questions being asked - like forums. This forum - digitalpoint - for example is one of my favorite places to find some of the more popular questions to be answered. If you want to create a hot selling product - then provide an answer to a hot question.
