Where do you get your themes?

This is primarily aimed at Affiliate Marketers. Where do you get your wordpress themes? Most of the ones on the Wordpress Theme website are pretty terrible. Very cookie cutter and cheap looking. Do most of you use free themes or pay for them? Do you customize your own themes or just use them as is? If you customize, do you pay someone to do it or do it yourself?

    Thanks

Not really worked with WordPress much. But all my themes for scripts, such as WordPress are made by myself as I prefer to have something unique :)

Haven't really done much of that sort of work though, usually develop my sites from scratch.

Made my own. It's better to make your own as you can make it exactly how you like it. And if it looks too crappy, you know who to blame! HA!

So far I wasn't in the affiliate business until very recently, but I had designed sites with my themes (Templates) or others. Either has its advantages and its down points but overall, in business it's all about impressions. So, if designing one from scratch urself gives your business a push that can go farther than that of a professional designer, please GO FOR IT.

On the other hand, some Professional designers (especially for wordpress) simply take my breath!

Half of my themes are free ones and the rest are customized.
