I been around the forum for a while and been hearing what people has to say about this and that..... Now since SEO is a lot about fresh algo facts and so on I wonder where do you get your facts from? I agree that some things are kind of obvious but there are certain areas where everyone is just speculating and saying they know the best..... So where do you get the facts, through own testing or a trusted source?
You get to understand things better by discussing them and trying out different strategies based on theory or previously tested techniques. A lot of the time the forums are where I learn the most, but also from SEO related articles that can be found on nearly any SEO site these days. Here is a good one that uses feeds from ALL popular sites, blogs and forums to syndicate search engine news into categories like SEO, online marketing, webmaster linking and ppc.
Yeah forums is problably the best resource for learning SEO Hehe funny I am also making a seofeed site I also used feeds from this forum.
All this knowledge that revolve around the forums is self queried... A webmaster may change a 'thing' on their website see bad results or good results that's what they come here and share them... Manish
I got all my facts from the back of a napkin left at a McDonalds near the GooglePlex... just found the thing sitting on the ground.
A lot of stuff you read in the various forums is discussion about theories rather than fact. The places you must read are: http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/ http://www.google.com/webmasters/guidelines.html
