    Personally I have used stock images from sxc.hu

    They are fantastic and I cannot recommend them enough since I have used tons of images from there for my one site that I flipped.

    I don't think so, most allow you to use in your own web sites, but not the ones you sell. There is a difference between using and selling.

    Some images may be free, some may have to be paid for, it is best to read the details on the site displaying the images and refer to the terms and conditions also

    just to note that google images are NOT free stock images, they may be subject to copyright if your using images off there you may be breaking the law and infringing on other peoples copyright :)

    As for selling templates you use free stick images on it would all depend on the license and wheather it allows it or not, it's allways a good idea to check

    Be careful of the sponsored searches on sxc though, they are paid images but the sponsored search results appear above the sxc ones, they look identical but they are in their own section so to speak, you need an eagle eye to spot it :p that's the only annoying thing about sxc. probably the best free stock photo site around.

    When selecting good quality exclusive images expect to pay

    Free images are usually regular images hence the reason why they are free
