Sometimes you just don't have the time to sign up for things. You get pissed quite quickly.

I use images.google.com as well, I think that is the easiest place to find a picture.

Are they for free? I kinda wonder, seems to be more like a search engine for images rather than a free stock image provider provider. Not sure if you can just use the images you find in images.google.com without asking for permissions.

That is a good point as folks cannot just go round lifting images off sites without either permission or displaying the original copyright display rights or both maybe required if you want to publish the image

It's neccessary to read the site terms and conditions so you know the image rights

Only takes a minute ............ then you can make a decision

Good idea.. If .jpegs aren't in the robot.txt then the photos must not be copyrighted.? lol. I usually use google images too.

I doubt so, not being in the robot.txt does not explicitly means that the images are public domain.

I use sxc.hu and then also flickr.com - but the images on flickr are usually not loyalty-free. You should ask for permission to use them from the author.
