Hey everybody I'm trying to find some good quality pics for some banner images and figured I'd ask you guys...and ladies on here where your favourite places are to get pics for your banners. I can find lots of nice quality pics but not too many that will work out for a banner.

I would say "Google search" :D
collect many images, sort out and then go to photoshop and combine

Thats a pretty good idea too, I just recently learned how to use Photoshop so that would give me some good practice too.

Google Image search is best option. If you're not doing image works professionally Istockphoto is not a good choise. Though I've seen hundreds of copyright violators who removes the watermarks from istock photos and use them for free

    Pay for them on istockphoto.com

Google Image search is not viable if you are serious about online business.

Most of the time you will be violating copyright!

there's actually a few free sources out there where you don't need to pay royalties either. i would suggest you just spend some time searching and you'll find a few of those sites

Ive never made a banner yet, but if you're willing to spend a few $, and i mean just a few you can purchase small suitable images from places like http://en.fotolia.com/

Ah thats a lot everyone looks like i'm going to try and do some research and see if I can find some places to get some free pics and if it becomes too much of a hassle spending a little $ won't hurt i guess.
