    A third from Google, a third from direct traffic, and a third from referring sites. I would like to get more from Google, as I'm sure everyone would.

    Google, yahoo, msn, bookmarking sites like digg, netscape, yahoo answers, squidoo, hubpages and some from blogger blogs

    you should target MSN.Yahoo, Google, ASK
    they will bring you the most traffic try these tools

    Mostly from search engines. I do quite a bit of article marketing and have consistently ranked well. I do use PPC as well. Both are profitable.

    I get about 60% from SE, but the percentage from SE is coming down with more direct visitors increasing.

    Main traffic nowadays come from Search Engines & if your site is well established & favourite among users then people will remember & the traffic will directly come from the users & If ur site needs to sell things then may be affiliate programs, reviews & other blogs..

    I've gotten some paid traffic for less from AdToll. They're not too bad. Don't expect many conversions though.
