Just curiosity.
Where do you get traffic from for your sites?
What is the best source of your traffic (SE, dirs, aff, etc)?

My sites is quite new,and most of the traffic are from Google and exchange links.

 

Getting thousands of unique visitors per day with 80%+ from Search Engines (Mainly Google).

 

Google and local search engines.

 

So far search engines 80%, exchanged links 20%

 

Paid links, PPC and search engines traffic

 

Mainly from major Search engines like Google and rest from back links & link exchanges.

My main traffic is from Google 80% ... Yahoo 10% ... MSN 5% and other search engines 5% (eg. Live.com)

 

50% referrals and 50% google

 

I've got one main site right now that I'm working on... It's main traffic source is other sites in the same niche (60%) and search engines (40%)... Search engine traffic is kind of flaky, so I'd recommend getting buddy-buddy with some other established sites...

 

im getting visitor 85% from search engine,10% from link exchange and 5% from others like comments in other blog.

 

Most from Search Engines with a bit from referral sites.

 

yes..search engines are the best..submit your site to many popular search engines

 

good SEs pick you up without having to submit

 

90% targeted Traffic comes from SE..Do SEO for your site, and after achieving the top-10 rank you will get the targeted traffic... Wish you all the best...

So I can only one conclusion and will concentrate on this.

If you want traffic - do SEO, if you need PR - exchange links.

Wait for more replies I think everyone is intersted.

 

80% from Google

 

60% Wikipedia lolol, 37% direct, 3% other (SE, Forums)

 

mostly from google... but theres also some referrals from other promotion..
