I was wondering what your strategies were for finding affiliates!

I typically go to different freelance boards to recruit affiliates...

    What do you guys do?

You can meet Affiliates on all the big forums. On DP there are a lot of affiliates and I have met quite a few killer webmasters on here that I was able to convert to affiliate marketing from Adsense..or to use both to generate revenue. Its seem pretty logical for a webmaster that is already focusing on getting rankings to start build pages and niche sites/blogs promoting various affiliate merchants. If you have an affiliate program, you can also look for highly related sites to your and contact the site owner ask then if they would like to join your program or do they offer any other types of advertising...hope this helps.

I get affiliates from DP and from my site, I get most of em from my site though. But the dp signs do their work.

Be honest. Write reviews. Post on forums and blogs.

    Here's a review of the program I'm using: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=846708

Don't just make a 2 line post and say something like: "Great products, great payouts, payment by paypal, join now!" because all the threads are the same so noone will bother joining. :)

    Good luck!
