Where do you buy?

For those that buy and sell domains, where do you buy from?Do you backorder? If so, what list do you use?

Do you just buy available names that aren't taken?

I just buy available domains. In the past I used Yahoo because they had specials like $4.99 domains. They are difficult to transfer from, so now I use godaddy.com

i have only sold a few domains, and they have been here or at a few other forums around town...you know. I don't do much selling though. Only when i get bored of a site, or need money bad enough :)

I did some back ordered's but go fed up with the fact they put it up for auction so you have to re-bid on the names you found! I use 1and1.com for regular registration because they are only 5.99 and nohassels with moving and no change of price to renew the next year.

I have used GoDaddy and Yahoo (love their $4.95 sales). Heard some great things about Moniker.com.

Usually i will use snapnames to backorder and sell it on sedo, afternic and so on!

BO @ godaddy (if it's not too important) or Pool

regular registration 1and1 and registerfly (customer service and administration not great though)

I have some renewable doms at ev1 (they don't offer new registrations anymore)

and often look @ expiring domains through snapcheck and whois-search and whois.net
