I use 1and1 for all my hosting. They are very cheap for what you get. Tech support is fast and reliable. I have had 1 issue in the past, but it was an understandable mistake on their part. I have been with them for over 5 years.

I think most free hosting sites have ads and some could get you banned for 2 adsense ads on one site. Your better off with own hosting.

I use my own server to host about 5 sites.

I just started out so the traffic is minimal, and im very lazy and tend to procrastinate a lot, so i'd rather not be paying xx/month for my under construction page to gather dust, if you know what I mean

Not true. A reliable share hosting plan can easily serve around 1000 users a day.... NOT 100 !!

I wish I had my own hosting. I use xbladehosting.com . My friend owns it and it is reliable hosting and the best part is cheap.

I pay around $6-7 USD a month for my blog hosting.. it was just a personal website and email accounts (before I've decided to add a blog to it)

I useftservers, i am not sure wheer they are based, i also have a couple fo proxies hosted with them and they seem to give me a lot of traffic.

Their customer service is terrible though and you need to be very techincal to set things up.

They basically give you a blank linux box with nothing installed.
