Where do most video sites get their videos from?

There are alot of funny videos, fight videos, etc. kind of sites popping up.

Just wondering, where do these guys get all their videos from?

Besides buying video packs from people selling them on DP and/or download videos from YouTube, where do they get their videos from?

Most of them claim to be adding new videos daily, but never mention where they get it from.

Are there any legal sites you can actually download videos from to use as content on your site?

 

Mostly from the users. It what creates the community. User adds video -> Admin approves users work. Admin sits back as users enterain users while admin provides the gateway.

Hmm, what if most of the videos are the type of videos you see around alot of video sites, and not really user-created or home-made videos?

 

Many will be pirated and as such admin hope to be able to hold their hands up and claim to have no knowledge of it and remove the offending articles.

 

They have to start off somewhere. Whether user created, or professional made. They start somewhere. The internet has an unwritten rule of whats out their is mine and is yours, even if it is strictly prohibited.

 

you need to find promotional content videos, sure if you know the right places to find them this is a great plus.

I have a dvd with like 500 public domain car related video which I acquired from a seller.

You just have to look around for public domain/ promo material.

its like the promo material sites car companies distribute their wallpapers off and then all 3rd party sites use.
