Where do Look for my website stat similar to other people stats??

    I couldn't locate the stats application everybody is showing specially on program launches. I only get two stat softwares in my back office of which one is awstats. Now Awstats is a big time confuser for me. Because I am seeing an increase in the visits and bandwidth yet when I check my adsense stats (impressions) they are so low and constant. Which one should I believe? I also use wp plugins but none of them worked for me because what they tell me and what adsense tells me is totally different.
    What is the NAME of that application everybody is showing on his site when they talk about traffic? Somebody help me.

    awstats is server based, thus shows both bots and real visits
    Adsense & Analytics are javascript based (require browser to execute), thus only show real visits

    Sorry ...i like google analyitics better than any other stats program... just my personal preferance ....
